Quehanna Loop
Overview
This is a moderate loop trail in [Moshannon State Forest] (https://www.gaiagps.com/hike/united-states/pennsylvania/moshannon-state-forest/). The loop uses the Quehanna Trail, West Cross Connector Trail, Quehanna Trail again, and finishes with the west Cut-Off Trail. Gaia has the hike listed as counter clockwise, however being a loop it's able to be hiked clockwise too.
This trail goes by Shaggers Inn Pond and Blowout Spring.
Getting Started
Access this loop along nearby forest roads - parking is allowed anywhere vehicles can be moved off the travel lane safely - or hike in from [Parker Dam State Park] (https://www.gaiagps.com/hike/united-states/pennsylvania/parker-dam-state-park/).
Taking Children
This may be a tough hike for children. There are steep ups and downs, and 15 may be too long for most children.
