I've walked Chickakoo since i moved here from Calgary. It's one of the better locations to get your walk/hike on throughout the year. This particular route is the longest of what is indicated on many of the maps scattered throughout the park at each junction so it's not hard to miss them. Is this 'difficult' as it's been rated....nope. There are a few sections where the elevation change is rapid but for hikers it's a non issue, for others who may fall into any category of inexperienced to disabled in any manner, it' presents it''s challenge areas to be sure.
Take your time, bring water, take some binoc's as there are usually interesting sights. There are also many off-shoot single tracks for those like me who prefer less traffic and more...nature. Be respectful and take out any trash you bring in. Cheers.
