Lake Champlain Loop(edit)

Overview

This is a moderate loop trail in Niquette Bay State Park.

This trail goes by Lake Champlain.

This is an excellent and VERY kid friendly scenic hiking area. Ample parking, pets allowed on-leash. Clean!

Getting Started

This park and the trail network contained within it is accessible from Exit 17 off of Interstate 89 (Milton / Colchester). This park is in Colchester near the border of Colchester and Milton. Access is easy and parking is plentiful.

This park is dog friendly and there are many people who bring dogs to this park.

Taking Children

Children of just about any age can enjoy coming here with ease. Consider a note though about dogs. If your child for whatever reason is concerned or hesitant around dogs this may be a tricky area. Some of the pathways are single track and many people bring dogs. So getting close to stranger pets is possible.
