Overview
This is a moderate hike that takes you along the canyon rim, down to White River and back. When the leaves are off the trees you'll have great views along the hike. Toward White River you'll hike along a board walk before ascending the hill, hiking through the campground and returning to your car.
Getting Started
Park at the wolf cave nature preserve. The trailhead for trail 7 starts across the street.
Taking Children
This trail would be better for older kids as you are hiking along the canyon rim for part of the trail. Dogs can be taken on the trail as long as they are on a leash no longer than 6ft.
