Overview
Snow Lake is a 6 mile moderate In-and-out trail in the Alpine Lake Wilderness of the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. An outcrop rock at the top of mile 2 offers a spectacular bird's eye view of Snow Lake nestled between the mountain peaks and luscious forest down below. But don't settle for the view, an additional half mile effort pass the saddle (350ft down) to the lake will reward you with a refreshing breathtaking dip on a hot summer day.
Best hiked during the weekdays. This is a well traveled trail given its beautiful views and accessibility from Seattle.
