Atalaya Trail 174 and Saint Johns Trail 174(edit)

This trail was dominated by pinion pine hard pact earth burnt Siena earth red quartz very dry. I turned back when because of timing and the last bit taxes my breathing. I made two drawings and left one for someone to find. I met a family who summered in Westport NY and the father was a Colgate alum. I also met an artist name Bill Shepard who was friends with poet Hayden Caruth.
