This hike is an easy-to moderately strenuous one-way hike from Berlin, CT to Hubbard Park in Meriden, CT. A car spot is needed to return from Hubbard Park to CT-71 in Berlin or vice-versa.
This hike includes Merimere Reservoir, Castle Craig, and East Peak, and goes by Merimere Reservoir via the Metacomet which overlaps with the New England Trail (blazed blue).
There are many trails in Hubbard Park, some of which are not well blazed, thus a paper map and an offline Gaia map are recommended.
Getting Started
Parking is available on CT-71 (Chamberlain Highway) in Berlin, CT. There are approximately 4 car spaces along the side of CT-71. Parking is also available on Mirror Lake Dr. in Hubbard Park, Meriden, CT.
