Overview
This is a moderate hike along the Wildwood Trail in Macleay Park (part of Forest Park) to Pittock Mansion Pittock Mansion. The trail starts at the Tunnel Trailhead on NW Cornell Road and follows the Tunnel and Cumberland Trails to the Wildwood. The route is steadily uphill, but not too steep. Enjoy the spectacular views of Portland, the Willamette River and Mt Hood from the grounds of Pittock Mansion.
Getting Started
Parking is on the south side of NW Cornell Road, immediately west of the tunnel. There is parking for about 8 cars. If full, there is additional parking on the north side of NW Cornell Road.
Taking Children
A good hike for families as the trail is wide and the route short, although continuously uphill.
