Overview
This is the Northern Loop of the Knobstone Trail. It is a moderately difficult loop. The rest of the Knobstone Trail continues to the south and goes all the way to Deam Lake. You will be in forest most of the time so there aren't a lot of great views, but there is a nice wooded valley and there are some steep hills to climb.
Getting Started
You can park in two locations:
1) Delany Park sometimes there is a fee here. The parking for the trail is all the way at end of the road through the camping area.
2) Spurgeon Hollow is completely free and owned by the state. Park by the lake and head out on the trail.
Taking Children
This trail is not recommended for children.
