    I have completed this trail many times and enjoy the elevation that it brings (approx 1200 feet). There are many stairs (1100 going up) and it is challenging but beautiful. There is no cell service on the trail except for the top of the mountain.

Alexander Murray Trail
A trail named in honour of one of Newfoundland's greatest geologists. This one is a climb with 2000 stair steps built to aid the climb. Go right at the fork for a more gradual ascent and left for the direct one.
