Overview
This is a easy out and back trail in Mayflower Hill Town Forest which crosses from MIlford to Amherst NH. It is a fascinating little 'in town' hiking area that crosses rocky outcrops with a vista to Pack Monadnock to the West. It also passes an old granite quarry with a story board and some old equipment in the woods.
Getting Started
There is parking along the shoulder of Perkins Street in Milford on the south end of the trail. On the north (Amherst end) there is parking for 1-3 cars at the Lyndeborough Road Trailhead.
Taking Children
This hike is interesting enough to entertain children. The route might be a bit long for toddlers and starts with a hill on either end. The hike is more rolling once you get beyond the starter hills.
