Overview

This is a highly popular hike in the Grand Teton National Park. Expect the parking lot to be full, but parking is allowed on the street. Even though the parking area seems overflowing, the trails still offer enough space for an enjoyable hike. This hiking area offers a number of options, allowing you to adjust your hike to your ability and level of adventure. The hike to Taggart Lake is the easiest, and most travelled. This is an easy hike for children, and the shoreline of the lake offers lots of opportunity for exploration. The hike to Bradley lake adds some elevation, with a couple of switch backs, but the altitude gain is still reasonable and makes this hike easily accessible. The views of the Grand Teton Peaks from this hike are stunning, as well as great views of Taggart and Bradley Lakes.

My husband and I did this hike in October and it was beautiful! A little more challenging than we anticipated but still on the easy side. Really enjoyed sitting by the lake and taking in the view. Took us about 5 hours (includes sitting by the lake for about a half hour) we really took our time. Do note the weather report as it can get very windy as you get towards steeper parts. Overall had a great time and would definitely recommend!
