Closed Canyon Trail(edit)

Overview

Closed Canyon is a moderately easy out and back trail through a small Canyon leading to the Rio Grande river. The trail follows the gravel wash at the bottom of the canyon and is suitable for almost anyone.

The trail can become impassable during periods of rain due to water pooling in areas along the canyon.

Getting Started

There is a parking area off the main park road at the trailhead that can accommodate several vehicles.
