Greville failed attempt at razorback. End, up waterfall down ridge
Tried to follow razorback trail from wikiloc, but trail pettered out. Looked like a bush bash would be required. Then tried to find alternative route to start of razor back, leaving waterfall gorge trail a little way up. Found wonderful swimming hole. Across from swimming hole, tried to climb up to razorback. Got within perhaps ten metres vertical on first try, perhaps could climb the last ten, but didn't look very safe. Second try also no good. Following along the cliff face in the direction towards the car park, tried a third time. This time looked very promising, not as steep. But ran out of time, so headed back to pool.
Went all the way up waterfall gorge. Summit doesn't have nice view and is over popular. Would skip it in future.
Went down ridge. There's a beautiful lookout that would be great for lunch near summit on this track. Am that beautiful lookout on a little razor back coming off to the left, further down.
Then found a link track from ridge to waterfall quitenear bottom. This led directly to the swimming hole we found - great to know!!
