Overview
This is a easy to moderate out and back trail in Arizona.
Getting Started
The Phoenix Sonoran Preserve has a large network of trails that are used for hiking, biking and horse riding. The trails are well maintained and easy to navigate. The Ridgback Trail is a quick out and back that will give some pretty views of the desert along with enough elevation gain to make it a good workout. When you reach the top of the mountain there is an overlook you can take that will add an extra quarter of a mile. When you reach the top you can choose to continue on and make a long loop with other trails or make it an out and back and head back to the trailhead.
