This trail runs along the Suwannee River and up the Withlacoochee River. It is a one way trail so you will have to hike back or leave a vehicle at the trail end on your way in. The trail starts at the boat ramp on the Suwannee and ends at the highway that crosses the Withlacoochee. The Big Oak tree on the trail is a sight to see. Half way on the trail at the intersection of the two rivers is a great lunch spot to include picnicking tables with the famous Suwannee River bridge in view. The trail is well maintained but there are many roots, black walnuts and some thick sand hazards.

The trail now has a new section that takes you up to the highway. This is an easy trail other than the roots, black walnuts and some thick sand creating some tripping hazards. Halfway through there is a nice break spot including picnic tables. Here you can view the Suwannee River Bridge that survived the civil war.
