Overview
This is a easy out and back trail in White Mountain National Forest. It ascends gradually paralleling the unnamed stream that drains Unknown Pond.
Getting Started
Parking is at the end of the York Pond Road (approximately 7 miles from the turn off NH 110) on the right. There is room for at least a dozen cars.
Taking Children
This could be a good hike for children though there are numerous stream crossings which require rock hopping or you will get wet feet. Also muddy in places. A number of blowdowns that children might be challenged to navigate over or around.

A trail that needs some love. Not yet patrolled this year and probably not in 2021 either. Multiple blowdowns and mud. We did not encounter anyone else. Bugs weren't bad at all.
