Loop Trail of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10
Overview
This is a moderate loop trail. It misses some of the most rugged sections of the park (Ladders and Rocky Hollow), but allows you to see the entirety of the park and get in some great milage for hiking in the beauty of west central Indiana. Along the trail you'll see Sugar Creek, a covered bridge, suspension bridge, beautiful sandstone outcroppings and some of the most unique features in Indiana. This trail helps to demonstrate why Turkey Run is one of the best state parks in Indiana.
Getting Started
To find the trailhead park at the Nature Center and head north. You'll be able to pick up the trail from there.
Taking Children
This is not a good hike for children. The mileage is pretty long and there are a couple of more exposed areas. Dogs are welcome, but must be a six foot leash.
