Waterfall Trail
Overview
The Waterfall Trail is an extremely popular trail for people of all hiking abilities at the White Tanks. This is a very wide and easy to follow trail that offers many sites along the way to the box canyon at the end. As you head down the trail keep an eye out for signs of wildlife. You may see many lizards, a snake or two and on occasion you may spot a deer. As you continue down the trail keep an eye for the petroglyphs that carved into the rocks. When you reach the end of the trail you can do a very easy climb up some boulders to look into the box canyon that is dry most of the year. The rocks around the box canyon are spectacular and worth the visit even if the waterfall is dry. If you can get to the canyon after a rain, you may be lucky enough to see a very rare waterfall.
