Bridal Veil Overlook Loop Trail and Bridal Veil Falls Trail
Overview
This is a moderate out and back trail in Oregon.
I've visited a lot of places in the Columbia River gorge, but this was my first time at Bridal Veil Falls. Visited 12/16/19. No gate blocking off entrance to parking area if you arrive before park opens. Parking is free, there is trash, recycling, flushing toilets and parking space for 20 cars. 5+ picnic areas. The small loop trail is paved and the trail to the falls was easy and well maintained. stairs on trail so not handicap accessible to the waterfall There is a Bridal veil B&B across the road from the parking area. Bridal Veil was raging and beautiful Monday morning. Probably saw 10+ people in the area. Be aware there is poison oak on sides of trail here and in the surrounding area. 1.27 miles to hike all the trails with 111ft elevation gain.
Getting Started
Waterfall is to the east of the parking area under the small bridge on the historic Columbia River highway.
Taking Children
Good hike for children. Poison oak on sides of trails.
