Lake Worth Loop via Crosstimbers Trail(edit)

Overview

This is a fun easy loop trail along the marsh and through the forest. Dense foliage allows for lots of shade along the trail. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for Blue Herons along with many other birds.

Getting Started

There is parking right next to the trailhead. You will see a bridge from the parking area. For entrance fees and park hours you can visit https://www.fwnaturecenter.org/

Taking Children

This hike is well suited for children. It is a well-marked flat trail with 3-4 benches along the way if they need a break. 10/10 for children.
