Overview
This is an easy loop made up of the Lower Hulls Gulch, Crestline, and Red Cliff trails. The grade is rarely >10%. There are a few points where you have to scramble some rock formations but it is more like a flight of stairs than a real obstacle. The trail is well marked and easy to follow. Cyclists never yielded the right of way as all the signs tell them to, but at least they were polite about it. The northern part of the Loop slowly ascends along a dry creek bed (the Gulch). It then climbs to a ridge line (Crestline) with a nice view of Boise in the distance. It then descends back down to the trailhead (Red Cliffs). By my GPS the loop was 5.3 miles with 650 feet of elevation gain, and took about 1:50 minutes
