This is an easy to moderate out and back trail to Mule Ears Spring in Big Bend National Park. The trail follows several dry washes as it makes its way through the desert. Excellent views of the Mule Ears Peaks along the entire trail. The remains of a small corral can be seen just before reaching the spring.
Hiking a further mile brings you closer to the peaks and eventually intersects the Smoky Creek primitive trail.
