Amazing trail just 2 miles North of Estes Park off of Dry Gulch Road. Easy to moderate trail with plenty of switchbacks and scenic views. Shady rest spots are plentiful and there are several cave shelters on the route you can use in the event of inclement weather. Beautiful views of Estes Park and Lakes Estes abound on your way to Gem Lake. Gem Lake itself is a wonderful treasure in and of itself. Plan for cooler temps at the lake and windy conditions because... Colorado. ☺️
