Great park to hike at. The two loops provide a moderate hiking opportunity with about 8+ miles and 1,700 Ft of elevation gain. Some of the trails are through Eucalyptus growth while the rest of the trails are fully exposed. The views of the hills, ocean, and Pacifica are very nice, and often one can enjoy the ocean breeze during the hike. Being on the west side of the Santa Cruz mountains usually provides cooler (then on the mountains' east side) temperatures, which are good for the hikers.
