Short Sand Beach Loop(edit)

Overview

This is a moderate loop trail in Oswald West State Park. This trail goes by Short Sand Beach.

You can start from either of the parking lots along the road to head in to Short Sand Beach. Be careful walking along the road as there are not sidewalks to get to/from each parking lot.

The beach itself is well known for its surfing, so expect to see a lot of other people here. There's a great viewpoint above the beach, just head to the right on the trail on your way in.

Getting Started

There's lots of parking between 3 separate lots here, but it's often full or close to it. There's no parking fee, and there are bathrooms and picnic areas in the main (center) lot.
