Armstrong Mountain Loop
Overview
This is a difficult loop trail to Armstrong Mountain in Adirondack Park. The loop starts in the private Adirondack Mountain Reserve before entering the High Peaks Wilderness. From May 1 to October 31, a reservation/permit is required to access this trail. The reservation, which includes guaranteed parking, can be obtained at hikeamr.org. Reservations can be made up to two weeks prior to ones hike, but must be made more than 12 hours before the hike.
