Mendenhall Glacier West Trail
This is the back trip from the Alaska Mendenhall Glacier West Trail. The round trip was 6.2 miles. We did not do the last 1/3 miles or so which takes you down to the tip of the glacier, but rather stopped at the dramatic overlook. The half mile or so of the approach to the glacier overlook has some steep/rooty/rocky/slippery sections, but nothing that care can't be handled if careful.
