I’m not sure what to call this as I would not call it a hike. It’s a walk on a blacktop surface through a botanical garden. The botanical garden is located in Waimea Valley just off of Route 83. There is an admission Fee to enter the park and botanical center and take the hike up to the falls. Check their website for current admission costs, but as of 02/05/2022 it was $20.00 for adults. The hike up to the falls is about 3/4 of a mile with an accent of approximately 160 feet and is suitable for persons of all ages. If you need a ride to the falls one is available by golf cart shuttle. Once at the falls check in with the attendant, grab your life vest, jump in and go for a swim, right up to the falls. Take your time getting up to the falls and returning as there is a lot to take in as you walk through the gardens. Take some pictures; enjoy
