Beautiful trail, was a little busy. The 8km loop wasn’t as busy. Wear hiking boots, or shoes you don’t care about, it gets a little muddy. Nice views of the lake, especially on the small bridges. No high look out points, but still worth the hike. Finished in less then 2 hours, with a few stops.

The is hike circles Lake Hardy through mixed forest with beautiful stands of hemlock, maple white pine and oak. We completed the full in 3 hours at a good pace. The trail was crowded at the start with walkers seeking to just see the lake and do the short initial loop. Minimal elevation changes with most of the trail hugging the lake.
