It is a well maintained walk through some mining history. I t is an easy walk for just about anyone. It’s great if you are not accustomed to hiking at altitude.

Vindicator Valley Trail
Vindicator Valley Trail One of the "Trails of Gold" near the town of Victor, Vindicator Valley Trail is an interpretive trail that takes you past many 1890s gold mines. Signs along the trail provide information about mines and people that lived here. The trail is a wide gravel loop with a small climb. Numerous historical buildings and views of Sangre de Cristo mountains to the south make this a great hiking option in the Cripple Creek area. Length: 2 mile loop Difficulty: Easy. Wide smooth gravel surface with small elevation change. Directions: Take US-24 west. Turn south on US-67 in Divide. Drive for 13.5 miles, then turn left on Highway 81. After 5.6 miles the trailhead parking will be on your right. Trailhead parking on Street view - See more at: http://www.cospringstrails.com/hikes/vindicator.html#sthash.V0aTKtBr.dpuf
