Overview
This is a moderate loop trail in Vermont. It "feels" longer than it really actually is. Really nice area, pretty, great views of the lake and wilderness. Many areas are flat and walkable. A few steep spots that are actually a bit surprising. Lots of fun.
This is an excellent trail running type location.
Getting Started
Parking is limited. There may be 6-8 spots if people park with real precision. There is NO additional side road area that you can really pull off if the small lot is full. So plan on this and be prepared in case the place is just packed.
Taking Children
Fair accessibility for children. Children can do it and should give it a go but there are a few challenging areas that really young children may need help getting through. But certainly doable.
