A 12.2 mile hike. Not terribly difficult; just long. Trail was super swampy; one of our group went in the mud to mid-calf. The false summit offered beautiful views of the Prezis, and many other peaks. The actual summit was stunning - 360 degree views and a wealth of plant life. One of our group was adept at identifying plants, which added to the experience! We hiked this on a brutally hot and humid day, but the breeze made it bearable, and beautiful.

About 1000 ft ascent in 0.8 mi, not usually hiked in winter. Winter trail finding on the ledges is difficult.
