A good urban hike where you see hawks, eagles, owls and white tailed deer. When it’s quiet it feels like you’re in the wild.
A riparian environment, which during high spring runoff is actually an island, the ELC is a local treasure. It can get crowded, especially on weekends. It’s a dirt trail that loops around the edge of the island, with the Cache la Poudre River running along the eastern side.
