Hidden Valley and Eagle Loop(edit)

Overview

Moderate hike through open grassland and prairie dog towns along valleys and mesa tops. There are a lot of options of other trails to make this hike shorter, or to add on. Great views of the plains and foothills from the high points. The Mesa Reservoir provides some interesting birding. Dogs are allowed off leash on this trail as long as they have a Boulder Voice and Sight tag.

There are several parking options for this trail.

Taking Children

This would be a good hike for children. There are some hills, but none that are too long or steep. It would not be suitable for a stroller.
