Constantine Lake and Upper & Lower Tuhare Lakes from Half Moon Trailhead
The trail to Lake Constantine is fantastic, gently rising, beautiful views, dense green forest. (1500' ascent) The lake itself and the views are stunning. We were fortunate to have a dusting of snow on the peaks. The hike to lower Tuhare lake is strenuous due to it's steepness. The climb from lower Tuhare to upper is only 300 feet of gain and is fun to do, but the lower Tuhare is much more scenic. If I visit this place again, I'm stopping at lower Tuhare.
