Such a beautiful start to our hike. We saw Washoe Lake and valley and then hiked a little more and was back looking at Lake Tahoe. So awesome. The hike up to Christopher’s Cove was so amazing. We looked down on Sand Harbor which was incredible!!! We had lunch up there. The hike through this big meadow was breathtaking and there was a great breeze. We looked down in Marlette Lake which is much bigger than I remember.
25 miles is a long way. I ended up exhausted with 4 blisters and sore toe nails. And heat rash and a big of sunburn . But overall it was a fantastic day with no injuries
Started at 0648 and finished about 1730. About a 10 1/2 day.......not bad
