A lot of trails work is currently being done, making this very popular, intermediate, hike easier to navigate by the many people who hike this trail. Technically this trail is in the Yosemite Wilderness and the trailhead begins before one enters the Park's Tioga Pass Rd. While this trail does not provide much elevation gain, it provides amazing views that should not be missed.
