Cold Springs Creek Road(edit)

Overview

This is a moderate gravel road (FS-148) in Pisgah National Forest with its own exit (Harmon Den exit 7) on I-40 that provides easy access to Max Patch Mountain and the Appalachian Trail. Cars use this road in both directions but the traffic is very light.

This trail goes by Harmon Den Horsecamp and Cold Springs Picnic Area.
