Hidden Lake Trail
Overview
This is a Moderate to Difficult hike. You'll be treated to amazing mountain views and a lake hidden high on the Continental Divide. Watch out for the mountain goats as they are very habituated to humans. Do not approach or feed them. Hiking to the overlook of the lake would be moderately difficult. Hiking down to the lake and back up would be more difficult as there is a 1000' of climb on the way back.
Getting Started
Take the free shuttle to the Logan Pass Visitor Center. From there hike up the board walk to the lake. If you choose to drive your own car. You will need to be there before sunrise to have a chance of getting a spot.
Taking Children
The hike to the lake would be a good trail for older children. The difficulty of the trail gets much harder if you hike down to the lake.
