Overview
This is a gentle and easily hiked trail along an abandoned railway. The road is flat and gravelled, with only one moderate climb. You can add difficulty by following next to the rive.
For the most part, you walk above the river.
This trail goes by Last Ditch Camp, Colorado Camp, Miller Camp, Five Trees Camp, Gordon Ridge Camp, Bathtub Camp, Hot Rocks Camp, Bedsprings Camp, Deer Spot Camp, and Fall Canyon Camp.

This was a beautiful trip, with lots of wildlife. There are two trails, a dirt path next to the river and a gravel road that follows the old rail path.
I found this an easy hike, with the only downside being the wind on the return hike.
Day 1 was 10 miles and then day 2 was 15 miles.
Great hike with a dog, although they will need booties if you walk along the road.
Camping space is numerous and there are several permanent pit toilets along the way.
