I have done this hike in the summer, but just did it in mid-October and you should know that the parking lot at the trailhead is already closed for winter which adds and extra two miles RT to the hike. Also, it just took one snowfall to make the trail very icy about 30-50% of the way. Be prepared for winter hiking conditions!

Ouzel Falls - Wild Basin Trailhead.
My other hike tracker showed 7.13 miles and 1015 elevation gain, which I'm more apt to believe because it shows I didn't walk in a straight line through the whole hike like GAIA shows. I believe if you don't explore any of the waterfalls, the hike is only 5.4 miles and 984 elevation gain but if you explore most of the waterfalls, expect your net elevation gain to be over 1000'.
