Dicks Lake 5 miles O/B from Eagle lake trailhead
Family Backpack.
Nice easy trails to follow. A lot Day hikers. This track only shows one leg, with a slight departure at Bay View trail to find another hiker. Similar to Suzi Lake, except 2x the elevation. The lake is at the top of this hike about 8,400'.
Camping sites are a bit limited and you need to secure permits here.

Dicks Lake from Eagle Falls Trailhead
This is an out and back hike into Desolation Wilderness from the popular Eagle Falls Trailhead. I climbs steadily out of the parking lot, past Eagle Lake and tops out on a ridge. The trail then traverses the ridge and into a basin with an unnamed snow tarn, making a final push up to a saddle and into Dicks Lake Basin, with beautiful views of Dicks Peak.
