Getting Started

This is a moderate In & Out trail to Sylvia Lake via Lyons Creek Trail. It is open to hikers & equestrians. Part of the trail goes through Desolation Wilderness in the El Dorado National Forest. The trail follows Lyons Creek and a few access points for water. Beautiful wildflowers, easy to follow. At times rocky and a few creek crossings. Bring a hammock, great trees at Sylvia Lake. No steep drop-offs and a gradual climb.

You can also do a spur to Lyons Lake.
