Rancho San Antonio to Black Mtn Loop Hike
A hard hike climbing up to Black Mountain, where it is usually windy and colder than anywhere along the route; Weather was partly sunny with temperatures in the mid 50's. Trees and shrubs were green from recent rains but no flowers yet. Ranch San Antonio Open Space Preserve and County Park is a favorite hiking destination for all levels of hikers (also see a shorter route I hiked there on 12/3/18). Parking is free, restrooms have running water, and there are numerous trails to choose from, depending on one's distance and elevation likes.
