Overview
This is a difficult out and back trail to King Creek Ridge in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park.
Getting Started
Park alongside the highway right before the winter closure gate. The trail starts north of the bridge and goes up right away. Short and steep to the ridge then it's an easy not exposed ridge walk to the top. Absolutely gorgeous hike! The true summit is about 200m past the false summit. You go down a bit and scramble up a short section to get there. Can be done in the spring with spikes

Did this hike on April 23, 2019. Still snow on top and some icy sections where we were glad to have spikes/poles. Absolutely gorgeous hike, one of my favorites!! Check for bear closures before heading out! Hike starts on the north side of the bridge and starts going up right away. Short and steep until you get to the ridge then it's a flat wide ridge walk to the top!
