Excellent scramble with a great ridge walk. Trail was more defined than expected. Lots of flagging up to the ridge. Minimal exposure on the ridge with several options to stay slightly below. Ferocious winds that might make portions of the ridge a bit more challenging. Gorgeous views.

Thunder Mountain is an ideal early season ridge scramble as it's snow free earlier than some other mountains. There is some route finding, and with a scree or ridge top route to the summit. Beware the wind! For the full trip report and photos, visit:
