We started the loop from Jakes Creek Trailhead and came across Cucumber Gap Trail to Little River. There are plenty of ruins to explore on the way in but it is much more of a grade from this direction. The falls are amazing and a great place for lunch.

Cucumber Gap Loop & Little River Great Smoky Mtns,Elkmont,TN

TRAIL LOOPS 5.6 Miles(Moderate 7.26) Area-Elkmont Views-Stream, Wildflowers, History Highest Elevation-3055ft. Trail starts at Little River Trail and continues to Jakes Creek Trail and goes to parking lot where Little River Trail starts good hike has a narrow path and some roots little creek to cross also our group seen a Black Bear up in a tree.
