Absolutely gorgeous. Good variety of terrain that’s challenging, but not too challenging to where it’s not enjoyable. Start from where the initial trail sign is, not the mountain overlook. The overlook is a great ending to the hike.

Impressingly well blazed trail. Very wide in many places. Wasn’t worried about ticks. A few great views scattered along the trail. Less straight hiking and more up and down hiking. I fellow hiker said the trail is better marked in the counterclockwise direction, which the direction I went. I went on a Monday mid morning during COVID. Not crowded.
