Lily Mountain
Overview
This is a easy out and back trail to Lily Mountain just outside of Rocky Mountain National Park, and is free to park and hike.
Parking is limited (8-12 vehicles), and there are no restroom facilities or trash receptacles at the trailhead. Pack it out. The trail is dog-friendly (keep your dogs on leash, this is a busy trail - and pack out your dog poop), but there's no water on the trail.
This trail goes by Quickie Cliff, Crag of Fear, Slamdance Buttress, and Lily Mountain Trailhead.
There is a fairly steep section after the switchback and a little bit of a scramble to get you to the top. You will be rewarded with sweeping 360 degree views!
Getting Started
Look for the small dirt parking area on the West side of highway 7. That's it. No facilities at this location.
